Returns and refunds

We want you to feel good about buying from us. If A piece of cake isn't right for you, here's how to send it back.

30-day return window
You have 30 days after receiving your pedal to request a return. To be eligible, the item must be in the same condition you received it and in its original packaging. You'll also need your receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, email us at returns@apieceofcake.live. Once your return is accepted, we'll send instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back without first requesting a return won't be accepted.

EU 14-day right of withdrawal
If you live in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason. This is your statutory right under EU consumer law and sits alongside our 30-day return policy above.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, use the "Withdraw from contract" button in the footer of this website, or send us a clear statement at returns@apieceofcake.live. Once we receive your withdrawal, we'll confirm by email and refund the full amount you paid, within 14 days of receiving the returned pedal.

The item must be in the same condition you received it and in its original packaging.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your pedal as soon as it arrives. If it's defective, damaged, or you've received the wrong item, contact us immediately at returns@apieceofcake.live so we can evaluate and make it right.

Exchanges
The fastest way to get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, place a new order separately.

Refunds
We'll notify you once we've received and inspected your return, and let you know whether the refund was approved. If approved, you'll be refunded to your original payment method within 10 business days. Banks and card issuers can take a few extra days to post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your return and you haven't seen it, email us at returns@apieceofcake.live.
